NEW "IDA" BOOK--FROM JAPAN

Our pal Norio asked me to contribute some artwork for his book about that great band IDA on his label SWEET DREAMS. I sent him some JPEG'S and he used them in the book! PDM--NATURAL LAW--BUSAN, KOREA

PRINCESS DRAGONMOM was so happy that the curators at the BUSAN BIENNALE 2008 asked if they could include our NATURAL LAW movie in the show!!! Of course we said "yes!". Then we told them "We will need three tickets to Busan, Korea---we want to attend the opening" and they said "No thanks---but we WILL send you three catalogs". So here are our pages from the catalog!!! I hope that the show was fun!!!

I WENT TO VISIT BEATRIZ

I was just in Miami so I got to visit Beatriz Montevaro at the studio she shares with her husband Gavin. It was great!!! She let me take a picture of a bunch of drawings.

TIME STEREO on an artist panel at MOCAD

MOCAD asked Warn Defever and I to sit on a panel that would discuss the CONSIDERING DETROIT artshow at MOCAD. Also featuring ALLIE McGHEE, MAURICE GREENIA, and curator JOHN CORBIN. Moderated by Wayne State University's honors head JERRY HERRON. Warn said a bunch of great stuff that will probably be stolen by John Corbin for the introduction to the CONSIDERING DETROIT exhibition catalog and I didn't say anything. But at least I DID have my shiny boots on that probably looked really good from underneath the table!!!

PASSPORT TO INFINITY entryway at MOCAD

Sarah and I were asked by MOCAD to create an entryway for their big spring fundraser. We did it with a lot of help from JEREMY, JEANNINE and DION!!! That's Sarah and Hazel at the bottom!!!

UFO FACTORY at MOCAD!!!

The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) asked TIME STEREO to build a huge installation for their show CONSIDERING DETROIT!!! So of course we built a cardboard UFO FACTORY... This fake UFO FACTORY is exactly like the real UFO FACTORY except everything is made of cardboard. There will be a bunch of shows there May/June/July so keep checking UFOFACTORY.COM for an up-to-date list!!!

"ANOTHER ARTSHOW" at MCBW in Detroit

Thanks to everyone that came out for DAVIN'S ANOTHER ARTSHOW at MOTOR CITY BREWING WORKS in Detroit!!! I made some free drawings for anyone that asked for one, some suggestions were perfectly normal (a turtle eating a coconut) and some were really weird. After that I gave away a FREE PAINTING and JODI was really happy with TRIPLE SCOOP DISASTER!!!
