FAKE BLOOD artshow at UFO FACTORY

Around Halloween everybody needs some FAKE BLOOD!!! So the UFO FACTORY asked a bunch of artists to make some bloody artwork. Artists include DION FISCHER, DANA BELL, BRAD TAORMINA, TAURUS BURNS, JAMIE EASTER, WARN DEFEVER, DAVIN BRAINARD & more. I made a painting called BLOOD IN THE CORNER.

METAL DUNGEON FONT

OK here's how it happened: my band METAL DUNGEON recorded a cd and it needed a cover. Since METAL DUNGEON is a Maurizio Bianchi/MB tribute band, I wanted the cover to look like an MB album. I made a "MD" stencil in the same style as the "MB" rubber stamp that is used on a lot of MB releases. A few years later when METAL DUNGEON recorded solo albums, I needed to write our full names for the cover. I decided to make a complete alphabet using the font "rules" that were contained within those original two letters. That's it!!!

I THINK I COPIED OFF MATISSE

When I was at the MOMA in NYC in mid-May 2007 I saw this painting. Then I realized that I must have copied off of it on the painting below. Oop's!!! I like mine but I gotta admit that Matisse is better.
